The ticket lottery opened today, and you lovely Hyperboreans will have either already purchased your ticket, have a ticket offer outstanding, or are part of the waiting list.
If you are unsure about the status of your ticket offer, check your registration profile using your email address at https://signup.tohyperborea.ca/site/login
Let’s take a look at what each status means, and what you can do to increase the chances of receiving a ticket offer in the future.
I got my ticket!
Congrats! That ticket is yours and yours alone. If you’re unable to attend or want a refund, you will need to release it back into the ticketing system for people on the waitlist. You can do this via your registration profile.
I got my ticket offer, but haven’t purchased yet…
If your ticket offer is still outstanding, the offer will expire within 3 days from when you got your offer email from ticketing@tohyperborea.ca. You can also voluntarily release it back into the system for the next person on the waitlist.
I am on the waitlist
Do not panic! The system is designed to ensure that every ticket offer will work its way down the waitlist until everyone gets a ticket, or until we run out of tickets. This process does take a little time. Keep an eye on your email, your registration profile and our website for any important updates. Closer to the event, we will be able to advise on how far down the list is still likely to get a ticket.
How can I make sure that I get a ticket next year?
Volunteer! If you volunteer at Hyperborea for eight (8) or more hours with any of our departments, and get your hours logged by someone on our leads team, you will qualify for a directed ticket the following year. This means there is no suspense waiting in the ticket lottery next year. If you have a ticket for this year, you will have access to register for volunteer opportunities in your registration profile page! Félicitations! Votre billet est à votre nom uniquement et vous appartient. Si vous ne pouvez pas vous joindre à nous, ou si vous désirez un remboursement, vous devez libérer votre billet en utilisant notre système de billetterie afin de laisser la chance au prochain sur la liste d’attente. Vous pouvez compléter votre demande de remboursement sur votre profil d’inscription.
J’ai reçu une offre de billet, mais je ne l’ai pas payé…
Si votre billet est impayé, l’offre de billet expirera dans les 3 jours suite à la réception de votre offre de billet provenant du courriel ticketing@tohyperborea.ca. Vous pouvez le libérer volontairement au prochain sur la liste d’attente dans notre système de billetterie.
Je suis sur la liste d’attente
N’inquiétez-vous pas! Le système est conçu pour que chaque billet soit acheminé à la prochaine personne sur la liste d’attente, et ce jusqu’à tant que tout le monde ait un billet, ou que nous n’avons plus de billets. Ce processus peut prendre du temps, donc restez à l’affût des mises à jour de la liste d’attente en vérifiant votre courriel, votre profil d’inscription ou en vérifiant notre site web.
Comment s’assurer que vous ayez un billet l’année prochaine?
Le bénévolat! Si vous faites huit (8) heures de bénévolat ou plus avec n’importe lequel de nos départements, et que vos heures sont inscrites avec les chefs d’équipes, vous profitez d’un billet en vente directe l’année prochaine. Vous n’avez donc pas à vivre le suspense de la loterie de billet. Si vous avez acheté votre billet cette année, vous avez accès à l’inscription des bénévoles dans votre profil d’inscription!
