We’re excited to announce the dates for Hyperborea 2020 ticket registration! Starting January 15, 2020 at midnight, you will be able to register yourself and any other future hyperboreans with our ticket registration system.
What is ticket registration?
Are you a new and shiny hyperborean? Or maybe you’ve had too much fun this winter and completely forgot how the ticketing at Hyperborea works. Let us tell you what ticket registration is!
In order to be fair to all hyperboreans, we don’t go by a typical first come, first serve approach. Instead, we ask our community to complete a ticket registration. You will be added to a pool for tickets once they go on sale, and if you are selected you will be able to purchase your ticket. If more people register than tickets are available, a virtual wait list is created. If you change your mind and don’t want to buy a ticket, it becomes available to purchase to the next lucky hyperborean.
I was promised a guaranteed ticket! Do I need to register?
Correction to previous info: yes please, everybody must register to get a ticket. If you were promised a guaranteed ticket, that’s probably because you’re absolutely amazing and did a bunch of volunteering! In fact, if you did over 8 hours of volunteering, we will be contacting you by e-mail shortly in order to provide you access to purchase your guaranteed ticket for this year’s Hyperborea.
Want to skip the line next year? Volunteer!
We have put the Ticket Registration System in place because we believe it’s a fair approach to ticketing. But we also know it can bring uncertainty. If you want to bypass this for next year’s Hyperborea, you can volunteer this year! When ticket sales will be open, you will have the opportunity to join our large community of volunteers, and to thank you, you will have access to a guaranteed ticket purchase the following year. So keep that in mind when it’s time to buy your ticket!

Nous sommes excités d’annoncer les dates d’inscription à la billetterie pour Hyperborea 2020! À partir du 15 janvier, 2020 à minuit, vous serez en mesure de vous inscrire, ainsi que tout autre futurs hyperboréens, à notre système de billetterie.
Qu’est-ce que le système d’inscription à la billetterie?
Êtes-vous tout nouveau à Hyperborea? Ou avez vous tout simplement trop fait la fête cette cet hiver et vous avez oublié comment fonctionne la billetterie à Hyperborea? Laissez-nous vous expliquer comment ça fonctionne!
Afin d’être juste et équitable à tous les hyperboréens, nous n’utilisons pas l’approche “premier arrivé, premier servi”. Au lieu, nous demandons à notre communauté de s’inscrire à notre système de billetterie. Vous serez ajouté à notre loterie de billet et vous serez envoyé un courriel si vous êtes sélectionné afin de faire l’achat de votre billet. Si nous avons plus d’inscriptions que de billet disponible, une liste d’attente virtuel sera créée. Si vous changez d’avis et que vous ne désirez pas acheter de billet, votre billet sera disponible à l’achat par le prochain sur la liste d’attente.
J’ai été promis un billet garanti! Est-ce que je dois m’inscrire?
Si vous avez été promis un billet garanti, c’est sûrement que vous êtes une personne incroyable et que vous avez fait beaucoup de bénévolat! En effet, si vous avez fait plus de huit heures de bénévolat l’année dernière, vous serez contacté par courriel sous peu afin d’avoir accès à l’achat de votre billet. Alors vous pouvez donc contourner l’inscription à la billetterie! Hourra!
Vous voulez éviter la file d’attente l’année prochaine? Faites du bénévolat!
Nous avons instauré le système d’inscription à la billetterie puisque nous croyons sincèrement que c’est une approche juste et équitable. Mais nous comprenons que ça peut ajouter de l’incertitude. Si vous désirez contourner la file d’attente l’année prochaine, faites du bénévolat cette année! Lorsque la vente des billets débutera, vous aurez l’opportunité de vous joindre notre grande équipe de bénévoles. Afin de remercier nos bénévoles, vous aurez accès à un billet garanti pour l’année prochaine. Alors, gardez ça en tête lorsque vous achetez votre billet!
