Art at Hyperborea is one of the keystones of the event, and it is our mission to enable artists to bring their creations to the land beyond the Northern Winds.
The Art Grant Program is intended to support and promote projects that foster the participatory spirit at the core of the event. We provide funding for radically expressive, community-based, interactive, experimental, and cross-disciplinary projects that help define the creative atmosphere we strive to curate.

Creators Grants subsidize the design and construction of new artwork to appear at the upcoming Hyperborea Regional Event. It can be applied to the costs of construction materials and operation. Most projects will fall into this category.
A series of funding tiers are available to support projects ranging from the large and ambitious, to smaller projects that provide heavier focus on interactivity and participatory experiences.
Legacy Grants subsidize the improvement, maintenance, or operation of pre-existing artwork to appear at the upcoming Hyperborea Regional Event. It can be applied to the material costs associated with refurbishment or additions, or with operation costs (such as burnables or fuel) at the event.
This grant exists with the sole purpose of creating whimsy. There are no limits on the imagination for a Micro Grant project. Come up with whatever you wish! Costumes, cacophony-society-esque happenings, performances, playa gifts – anything goes. Try to make it unique and playful!
